I am an Executive Director at Macmillan Davies.

I personally tend to specialise in the senior end of the HR market, but always happy to support my long-standing clients I’ve known for several years at all levels.

My approach with my clients and candidates is to always be honest with my thoughts and feedback - that can only lead to mutual respect when working together.

I’ve worked in recruitment since 1997 so there’s not much that I’ve not seen or done; therefore, I am able to assist and advise from a place of experience and knowledge. I’ve managed and been managed and feel my many years of experience can be helpful for both the people that work with me, as well as my clients and candidates.

What is something people in recruitment have to deal with that you want to fix?

Ambiguity. I’m a firm believer in saying things as they are. Being upfront and open at the very beginning is beneficial to both the client and candidate.

What do you enjoy most about working for Macmillan Davies?

It may sound like cliché but it’s the people I work with. We truly work as a team with the same common goals. We strive to be the very best at what we do for our clients, candidates and each other.

What are the values that drive you?

Honesty, trustworthiness, integrity and good old fashioned hardwork.

What do we not know about you?

I am proud to volunteer as a Childline Counsellor in my free time.
Childline is here to help anyone under 19 in the UK with any issue they’re going through.
As well as counselling, I am a mentor to new volunteers and also assist Childline with their interview process when meeting potential volunteers.

What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
