Following the success of our first Padel + People event, we’re building a community that brings HR and People professionals together on and off the court.
The idea is simple: an informal way to meet others from across the HR profession, spend time with people you already know and enjoy a game of padel in a relaxed setting.
Our first event at Stratford Padel Club brought together HR leaders and People professionals from across our network. The feedback was incredibly positive, particularly around having the opportunity to connect away from the usual work and networking environment.

What happens next?
We’d now like to build on our first event by creating a regular Padel + People community.
The plan is to organise social sessions where members can book and pay for a place to play alongside other HR and People professionals. Macmillan Davies will bring the community together and organise the sessions, and we’re also planning a larger Padel + People Summer Social each year.
It doesn’t matter whether you play every week or have never picked up a racket before. Padel + People is open to all playing levels, and we’ll use the information you give us when you register to help organise sessions that work for the people who want to take part.
We’re starting in London, but as the community grows, we’ll be looking at where else we could bring Padel + People across the UK.
