Driving a sustainable successful future: Macmillan Davies sign up to all-inclusive electric car subscription

Macmillan Davies is delighted to announce that we have joined ONTO – the all-inclusive electric car subscription, available for all of our Directors and employees. Sustainability is a key pillar of our future strategy at Macmillan Davies and electric cars are an amazing step towards that.

You can get a subscription for almost anything these days – from wine, veg boxes, music, films and much more – why not add an electric car subscription into the mix? With the UK government encouraging drivers to go electric by banning the sale of new petrol and diesel cars entirely by 2030, an EV subscription ticks a lot of boxes because of its flexibility, cost and convenience.

Darren Hayman, Managing Director at Macmillan Davies explains the importance of the scheme: “Growth of our team and a commitment to sustainability are two key areas of our business strategy for the next three years. “The idea was initially brought to me by one of our employees who had read about the scheme, as a business we are always open to ideas – this was a great one and we ran with it. I joined the scheme straight away and have been promoting it to all of our employees ever since. I feel this could be a key differential for us when hiring internally.”
