When Leaders Go Rogue
Macmillan Davies webinar series
Macmillan Davies HR Recruitment is delighted to once again invite you to a webinar with guest speaker and host, Jo Banks, Executive Coach, Leadership Development Trainer and Author. Jo first spoke about the topic 'When Leaders Go Rogue' for us earlier this year. After the success of the event, and the feedback we received, we will be running the same session again in July:-
When Leaders Go Rogue
We’ve all experienced leaders and employees whose personality seems to change dramatically when faced with prolonged stress and pressure and the last two years seems to have intensified this behaviour.
They may turn angry and aggressive, retreat almost entirely or micro-manage in a way that may not have been evident before. Avoiding dealing with such behaviour promptly can cause losses in productivity, time, and company/personal reputation and detrimentally impact the mental health of those around them.
In this ever-changing post-pandemic world, it’s critical to spot ‘out of the norm’ behaviours early. Coaching, supporting and mentoring these Leaders in overcoming their challenges is instrumental in our roles as HR professionals which has been emphasised by a large increase in demand for this skill set when businesses are hiring.
In this hour-long session, Jo will explain how you identify and understand what’s driving certain behaviours together with simple, easy to use tools and techniques to support those individuals and will include a 15 minute Q&A.
In this session, you will learn:
- How our Autonomic Nervous System affects our ability to be able to perform under pressure, including:
- imposter syndrome
- self-sabotage
- procrastination
- micro-management
- Tools for managing challenging people
- How to support individuals to help them get back on track
We encourage you to raise any questions you may have pre-event on this broad subject in order to tailor the session to your requirements. Please forward these to Kerry White at kwhite@mdhr.co.uk
