Time:13:00 - 14:00 (UK Time)

Location: Online

We’re bringing together two world-class experts for a practical, honest conversation on how organisations can build psychologically healthy, high-performing cultures.

David Beeney

Mental health advisor and counsellor

After 30 years in media, David Beeney chose in 2016 to speak publicly about his mental health journey, one of the most significant decisions of his life. Today, his advisory firm is globally recognised as one of the world’s leading advisors on mental health in the workplace, trusted by organisations including HSBC, Google, NHS, Sainsbury’s and the Royal Navy. He is a qualified mental health counsellor, a registered BACP member, and was recognised in 2024 as a top global influencer in employee engagement.

Dr Christina Murphy: HR transformation strategist

Dr Christina Murphy is an HR transformation strategist working at the intersection of strategy, technology and human behaviour. She supports organisations through PE-backed growth, complex transformations and large-scale public sector change, including leading COVID-19 workforce responses. Her experience spans Genesis Research Group, Centerlight Health, CityMD, Booz Allen Hamilton, Cognizant, Avaya and NJ TRANSIT. She brings a practical, evidence-based perspective to HR, focusing on scaling talent, embedding technology, applying people analytics with judgement, and strengthening leadership under pressure. She is currently completing an MSc in Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire.

This session goes beyond theory. We’ll explore what actually works when organisations are under pressure to deliver performance, transformation and growth.

What we’ll cover:

• Burnout as a business and transformation issue, not just an HR topic

• The link between mental health, culture, retention and performance

• How leaders can manage complex people challenges at scale

• Designing work in the age of AI without accelerating burnout

• Building high-performance cultures grounded in trust and psychological safety

Who should attend:

• CHROs

• People directors

• Senior HR leaders

• Talent professionals

This is a timely and practical conversation for organisations navigating change, growth and increasing people complexity.
