Webinar: Is DEI dead? Resilience in the face of criticism

Macmillan Davies webinar series

Macmillan Davies takes great pleasure in inviting you to our next webinar:

Is DEI dead? Resilience in the face of criticism

This session is designed specifically for HR professionals who are ready to move beyond the headlines and explore how Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) is evolving in response to recent global challenges — including the impact of Trump’s Executive Orders.

Our expert speaker, Wendy Ramshaw, Director at Inclusivity First Ltd, will be sharing valuable insights into the global ripple effects of these political developments and what they could mean for organisations here in the UK. We’ll also be scanning the current UK landscape to identify key DEI priorities and offering practical steps that leaders can take to keep their people engaged and committed to the DEI agenda.

Wendy brings extensive experience across the financial services, professional services, energy, and utilities sectors. She is a seasoned leader in developing and implementing innovative DEI strategies within high-performing and complex organisations. Her work is grounded in fostering real workplace engagement while aligning inclusion efforts with broader business goals.

As a care-experienced woman, Wendy is passionate about amplifying the voices of women and girls, championing social mobility, and driving meaningful change. She is an Ambassador for the Girls Friendly Society and is currently co-authoring Powering Equity — a forthcoming book calling for greater gender parity in the green skills revolution.
