About Louise Brown
Louise Brown is a published Author, TEDx Speaker, NLP Coach and thought leader who speaks candidly about self-belief, leadership, and the courage it takes to claim your place. She is the author of Bold, Brave, Brilliant! which is rooted in lived experience and introduces the BRAVElou® framework, a practical and deeply human approach to overcoming imposter syndrome and leading with authenticity.
With over 30 years in the public sector, specialising in education, Louise has risen to senior leadership roles overseeing complex portfolios, major capital build projects, and large multidisciplinary teams. But her work is driven as much by empathy as it is by expertise. Holding a master's degree in human resources and Organisational Development, Louise is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, an alumni of Oxford University Said Business School, a qualified Performance Coach with NLP, and a member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists, combining professional rigor with psychological insight.
A passionate advocate for the transformative power of Further Education, Louise credits education with changing the trajectory of her own life. She believes deeply that potential exists everywhere, often quietly, and that leadership is about recognising it both in ourselves and in others. In 2023, she was named Leader of the Year at the Greater Manchester Good Employment Awards, in recognition of leadership that puts people first.
Beyond the boardroom and the stage, Louise finds clarity outdoors. A committed runner and fundraiser, she does much of her thinking on long runs and fell walks, often accompanied by her rescue Staffy, Ralph. A lover of Greece and its philosophy, she is slowly mastering conversational Greek and believes there’s wisdom to be found both in ancient ideas and everyday courage.
We’re keeping the group intentionally small to encourage open discussion, so places are limited.
