Founding Recruiter | AI Startup | $180k

We're partnering with a Series A AI startup, based in San Francisco, looking for
their first in-house Recruiter to build and scale the talent function during a
pivotal growth phase.

This is a rare opportunity to design the recruiting engine from the ground up
while partnering closely with founders and investors to hire world-class
technical and GTM talent.

What You'll Do

* Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, design, and GTM

* Scale hiring to support 4× team growth over the next year

* Directly source and close top startup talent (typically 10-15 hires per year)

* Build and optimise recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience

* Partner with founders on headcount planning, org design, and talent strategy

* Develop sourcing channels including direct sourcing, agencies, and investor
networks

* Track hiring metrics and continuously improve recruiting performance

* Shape the employer brand and talent narrative in a competitive AI market

* Over time, build and lead the recruiting team

What They're Looking For

* 5-10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth startups
(Series A-E)

* Track record of hiring technical and GTM talent in competitive markets

* Strong sourcing capability and ability to sell early-stage opportunities

* Comfortable operating strategically and hands-on

* Experience with ATS platforms such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem, or HireEZ
