Executive Assistant
Location: North West
Job Description

Executive Assistant (HR Focus)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Are you an experienced Executive Assistant looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact rather than simply manage diaries?
I'm delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established, highly successful UK business to recruit an Executive Assistant to support its Board of Directors.
This is a newly created opportunity that has arisen due to growth and a desire to create greater capacity and effectiveness at Board level. You'll work closely with the CEO, CFO, COO and CTO, becoming a trusted partner who helps ensure the smooth running of the Executive Office and Board governance processes.
Whilst diary management will form part of the role, this opportunity is much broader than a traditional EA position. This role sits within the HR team reporting into the Head of HR and so a part of your role will be to provide additional support with HR activities.
This is an ideal opportunity for somebody who enjoys working at pace, thrives on organisation and planning, and takes pride in enabling senior leaders to operate at their best.
The Opportunity
- Coordinating Board meetings from start to finish, including agendas, papers, logistics and action tracking
- Producing, collating and quality-checking Board papers and documentation
- Taking accurate minutes and maintaining governance records
- Managing Board action logs and proactively following up on outstanding actions
- Supporting Executive inbox management and prioritisation
- Arranging Board travel, accommodation and logistics
- Building strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the business
- Providing some HR support around recruitment coordination, onboarding and training
About You
- Previous experience supporting senior leaders, Executive teams or Boards
- Strong minute-taking and governance administration experience
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills
- A proactive and forward-thinking approach
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- High levels of discretion and professionalism
- The maturity and judgement to operate effectively within a Board environment
Why Apply?
- Hybrid working (3 days onsite)
- Flexible working hours (35-hour week)
- Exposure to Board-level decision making
- Opportunity to shape and improve processes
- Broad and varied role with real autonomy
- Supportive and collaborative leadership team
Apply today to be considered for this fantastic opportunity!
