Due to an organisational restructure, my nationally based Professional Services client is seeking a HR Advisor to be based from Leeds and also support the Newcastle Upon Tyne office. Reporting into the Regional HR Manager, this is a stand alone role where you will pro-actively support the business area by providing an effective and professional HR service.

Duties will include:
* First point of contact for all HR queries and provide advice and guidance up to Director level.

* Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing, employee management and employee development.

* Build effective working relationships with people at all levels within areas of responsibility to add value to the delivery of HR services by understanding individual strengths and development areas and the needs of the business.

* Provide advice on people issues, complying with policy, best practice and statutory requirements.

* Work with recruitment colleagues to support and develop recruitment campaigns, including graduate recruitment.

* Provide input into policy development activities to raise awareness of and ensure compliance with best practice.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a generalist HR role within the professional services sector and preferably within a HR shared service environment. Ideally fully CIPD qualified or equivalent, you will have in depth and current knowledge of employment legislation and knowledge of HR Best Practice and have the ability in dealing effectively with employee issues in accordance with established policy and procedure. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly establish and maintain strong working relationships at all levels, this role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to further develop their experience and career. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and to multi task and reprioritise work. As this role is covering two sites, you must be flexible to travel between the Leeds and Newcastle offices on a regular basis.
