The Opportunity

A leading school in south London require a permanent HR Administrator as soon as possible. In this role you will be supporting the HR team in the provision of a high quality, efficient HR service for the school. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a top school and to develop and grow in the role, getting some valuable exposure across all areas of HR.

The detail

You will report to the HR Director and deliver all generalist HR elements, as well as drive quality across the full spectrum of HR. Accountabilities include:
*Supporting the HR team in the recruitment of all academic and support staff across the school
*Ensuring data and due diligence at all times; producing statistical reports and presentations to a variety of stakeholders
*Assisting with vacancy advertisements and tracking applications
*Managing and resolving employee HR issues, queries and questions as they arise
*Providing efficient administration of paperwork for the full employee life cycle
*Organising, monitoring and updating the database as required

Skills and Experience

*Preferably prior experience in a HR generalist role, a CIPD qualification would be a bonus, however, this is not essential
*Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and experience with databases
*Excellent spoken and written English
*High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken
*Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work under your own initiative
*Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
*Understand the importance of safeguarding and safer recruitment within a school environment
*A sense of humour
