The Opportunity

An international Insurance company is looking for a proactive HR Business Partner with strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills. This will be a 12-month fixed term contract, working closely with this fast-paced business, where you will have a mix of operational and strategic duties. You will be working in a team orientated environment and will have the ability to make a difference. The detail

This is a true generalist role supporting a global population. Accountabilities include:

*Working proactively with the business to deliver HR processes and implement changes where relevant
*Supporting and leading complex HR projects across London and the international offices
*Building strong relationships within the business, offering coaching, support, advice and solutions to enable line managers to meet business objectives
*Promote positive changes in people management practices to drive performance improvement
*Managing the recruitment process and work closely with the business to understand resourcing needs
*Managing ER issues and ensuring relevant legislative requirements and best practice are embedded in the development of employees
*Responsibility for L&D such as developing and supporting the company's talent agenda, the appraisal process and identifying learning needs
*Oversight of accurate payroll processing and reporting
*Line management responsibility for a team of 2

Skills and Experience

*Must have previous HR Business Partner experience within Insurance, Financial Services or Professional Services, also within a SME
*Demonstrate strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies and legislative requirements
*Demonstrate proactivity, self-motivation and the ability work under your own initiative
*Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with a strong focus on client service and delivery
*Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
