Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Job Description

A national retail organisation is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their Central London Head Office team on an initial 6 month FTC. You will be supporting the payroll for circa 2000 employees, therefore previous payroll experience in organisations with 750+ employees is essential to be considered for this role.

The role;

-Process monthly payroll for over 2000 employees, calculating all payroll amendments and deductions
-Responsible for all starters and leavers
-Calculate overtime, PAYE, NI, holiday pay and pension contributions, as well as statutory absence payments including SMP, SPP, OSP, OMP and SSP
-Administer Deduction from Earnings orders
-Manage and process queries from employees, managers and external departments, such as DWP and HMRC

The experience;

-Previous experience working in a payroll capacity for a company of 750+ employees
-Knowledge of i-Trent system
-Experience of payroll calculations
